Ed Hammond uses a deep understanding of the news media, learned during his nearly 20 years at the Financial Times and Bloomberg, to provide clients an insider’s view on how to navigate their most complex communication matters. Advising on M&A, activism defense, and across a wide range of litigation challenges, Ed has supported several of the largest companies in America and globally, including The Cigna Group, UBS, US Foods, and Pernod Ricard. In addition to crisis communications work, Ed routinely works with clients on narrative building, media relations, and training for media interviews across multiple formats. Prior to founding Collected, Ed covered every aspect of corporate deal-making and shareholder activism, breaking news and shaping opinion on many of the largest transactions in history. He founded Bloomberg Television’s Deals Report, interviewing leaders across business and politics, and is the recipient of numerous awards, including from the National Press Club and the Foreign Press Association, Ed was named one of the world’s most influential financial journalists by Business Insider in 2021. He is also a member of the British German Forum.‍
